Spey Fishery Board, Annual General Meeting – Friday 10th February 2023
 

Notice is hereby given of the following meeting to be held on Friday 10th February 2023, commencing at 2pm in terms of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 2003:

1. Annual General Meeting to receive the Report and Accounts of the Spey Fishery Board for the last year.

This meeting will take place at the Boat of Garten Community Hall, Reidhaven Park, Craigie Avenue, Boat of Garten. PH24 3BL. It is open to members of the public to attend, but please email admin@speyfisheryboard.com to advise if you would like to attend the meeting, so that we are aware of numbers.

The Ceremony will begin with a Blessing by the Rev. Andrew Kimmitt, and a few words from our Guest of Honour.

Spey Fishery Board Meeting Papers 16th July 2018

The Spey Fishery Board held an Extraordinary Meeting on Monday 16th July to discuss a proposal from Tulchan Estate to re-open their hatchery to rear salmon smolts. This had been accompanied by a supporting petition which had been signed by the majority of the Ghillies. The Board’s decision that it could not proceed with the proposal, together with the launch of a new Action Plan outlining the initiatives it would be taking forwards, were subsequently presented to a meeting of Proprietors and Ghillies on Thursday 19th July 2018.
